Accommodation Bahrain introduces
Norwegian Cruise Line® (NCL), a leader in global cruise innovation, has just unveiled its latest Prima Plus Class ship, the Norwegian Luna, now available for booking. As the 21st vessel in NCL’s modern fleet, Norwegian Luna will offer guests a range of sun-soaked voyages departing roundtrip from Miami between April and November 2026.
Kicking off its inaugural Caribbean season on April 4, 2026, Norwegian Luna will feature two Western Caribbean itineraries, visiting Roatan Island, Honduras; Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; and Harvest Caye, Belize. Following this, the ship will sail on seven-day Eastern Caribbean routes to destinations such as Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; and NCL’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay, which will boast a new pier by late 2025.
Stretching 1,056 feet and weighing in at 156,300 gross tons, Norwegian Luna will accommodate around 3,550 guests—an increase in both size and capacity over its predecessors, Norwegian Prima® and Norwegian Viva®. This state-of-the-art ship is being built alongside its sister vessel, Norwegian Aqua, and designed by prestigious architectural firms including AD Associates, Piero Lissoni, Rockwell Group, SMC Design, and Studio Dado.
Norwegian Luna will feature striking hull art by renowned street artist ELLE. Titled ‘La Luna,’ the artwork explores humanity’s bond with the moon and will adorn the ship’s bow, symbolizing the epic journey awaiting its passengers.
Exciting onboard experiences await, including NCL’s exclusive Aqua Slidecoaster—a hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide combination that will be the longest and fastest at sea. Additionally, Norwegian Luna will feature the Glow Court, a digital sports complex that transforms into a nightclub by night, as well as fan-favorite attractions like The Drop, a 10-story free-fall slide, and the outdoor sports area, The Stadium.
Luxury seekers can enjoy Norwegian Luna’s all-new Three-Bedroom Duplex Haven Suites, offering exclusive amenities like 24-hour butler service, a private sundeck, infinity pool, and outdoor spa. The ship will also bring back signature features such as the Ocean Boulevard outdoor walkway, Vibe Beach Club, Infinity Beach, and a spacious upper pool deck for ultimate relaxation.
Guests aboard Norwegian Luna will have the chance to savor new dining and bar experiences unique to the Prima Plus Class. Highlights include Sukhothai, the cruise line’s Thai specialty restaurant, offering a vibrant menu of both traditional dishes and inventive new options, and Indulge Food Hall, featuring 10 diverse food stations, including the plant-based Planterie.
In addition to these fresh options, NCL’s signature specialty and complimentary dining venues will also make a return, including Cagney’s Steakhouse, Le Bistro for elevated French cuisine, and the upscale Italian restaurant Onda by Scarpetta.
