Día de los Muertos Festival in Denison: A Celebration of Life and Culture

On November 1, 2025, Denison, Texas will hold a free festival celebrating life, culture, and community during the Dia de Los Muertos festival. Those who attend will be able to enjoy and celebrate alonside the artwork, music, food, and dances during the festival which goes on from 10am to 5pm.

The festival will take place in downtown Denison, specifically along Forest Park and Main Street. The streets will come alive with cultural displays, food vendors, live music, and artistic expressions. Community altars, known as ofrendas, will be set up throughout the area, inviting people to reflect on the lives of those who have passed.

At 2:00 PM, the main attraction will be the much-anticipated parade, which begins at Main Street and Crawford. This exciting procession will feature unique elements such as giant puppets, Gabby’s Auto Show, and the DFW Caballo Bailadores dancing horses, making it one of the festival’s most dynamic moments.
